Rocky Point is an easy and very safe drive from the Southwestern US through the breathtaking Sonoran desert down to the cobalt blue of the Sea of Cortez. Many of our festival goers choose to make the drive on their own (4hr from Phoenix/Tucson and 5hr from San Diego) but if you'd rather sit back and enjoy the ride, we have professional door to door shuttle service available from Phoenix airport as well as a 55 passenger party bus as part of our pre-party and caravan on the Sunday/Monday before the event.

Our host hotel is Penasco Del Sol. In every detail, this property captures the essence of this luxurious tropical Mexican paradise. Blessed with sweeping sunset views, a world class restaurant and steakhouse on site, a large heated pool with swim up bar and hot tub and many other delightful amenities, Penasco Del Sol is the perfect backdrop for our festival. The hotel is within walking distance of many of the most popular restaurants, shops and bars in town and is a surprisingly incredible value.

Our standard VIP festival package includes 7 nights in a spacious and well appointed room with balcony. Each has two queen beds, a coffee maker and varying views overlooking the stunningly beautiful Sea of Cortez or the beautiful hotel pool. Imagine saying goodbye to another perfect day while sipping wine from your front row seat to one of the most beautiful sunsets on earth. This room has everything you need to make this the vacation of a lifetime...and we haven't event told you about the music yet!

After six years of running the festival, we have found the best locations in town to host our top notch talent. With daily round trip hop on/hop off transport from the hotel to each satellite location, we've made it very easy to get out and explore the town and catch your favorite songwriters up close and personal. Each of our venues is private for SOB patrons only during show times and reserves VIP seating for our hotel guests along with drink and food specials for all SOB's. Every show is a "listening room" style to insure the best performance possible...you'll love it!

We chose Puerto Penasco because it is full of friendly and wonderful locals, fun loving ex-patriated Americans and Canadians trying to thaw out. With beautiful beaches, fantastic food on every corner, tons of bars/shopping and things to do-Penasco has the feel of a little Mexican Key West at a fraction of the price. It is easy to get to-being only an hour over the border in the tourist zone-and we feel it's a little hidden gem with so much to offer. Come see why it has been Arizona's beach for decades...and I'll bet you thought there was no such thing as ocean front property in Arizona huh?!
